11,000 runners joined TreeBank and Suntory PepsiCo to plant more than 3,500 lùng bamboo trees — retaining water, preventing erosion and creating livelihoods.

Sport brings more than good health — it can create real impact for the environment. Through the TreeBank x Suntory PepsiCo Water Run 2024 programme, every stride taken by participants was converted into tangible value for nature and the community.
With 11,000 runners in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the programme contributed more than 3,500 lùng bamboo trees planted in the West Nghệ An Biosphere Reserve — a species that retains water, protects soil, limits erosion and provides sustainable livelihoods for local communities.
